Football derby: Maribor-Olimpija
Cold weather, bad results and affairs contributed to the low number of spectators present at the so called Slovenian El Classico. In Slovenian standards a high, but for Maribor’s circumstances low number of spectators (2500) arrived at the Slovenia’s greatest football derby between old rivals Maribor and Olimpija.
Maribor proved to be a better team for the fourth time this season (3 times in league matches in once in the cup). They were the better team throughout the game and deserved to win at the end
