Photoshoot with the band Voice Of Violence

Iztok Bončina and I had a photoshoot with a young metal bend from Šentilj called Voice of violence. We met in an old castle in Kungota pri Ptuju. It’s an old castle that is falling appart and we got a really creepy scene. Iztok focused more on group photos and in the meanwhile I took a few portraits.

Siddharta-Saga-Maribor

Siddharta had a concert in Maribor (the previous week), this was a great chance to test my new Canon 7D and its high ISO. I also took couple of short HD movies which I will try to post as soon as possible. But considering that december is a party-month, this will be quite a challenge.

Siddharta as expected rocked the show. It was bit fortuned that more people didn’t show up, but due to a high price that was expected.

New camera: Canon 7D

I finally got my new camera. I decidet to buy 7D. I haven’t done any real testing but I tested it at a handball game I posted recently.

I was really impresed by the whole camera. All the new features are superb especially considering the prize. Some of the features I like:

-New feature HD video is just amazing, just AF is slow and one might want to consider manual focus

-ISO 6400 (H:12800)- I was shooting the whole game with ISO 4000 and didn’t have any major problems with the noise

-New AF system

-8 fps without an additional grip

-Dual DIGIC 4 processor- even with 18mp and 8fps I never reached buffer

Končno je nastopil čas, da se poslovim od svojega prijatelja. Odločil sem se, da prodam Canon 400D (kit,grip, 2×baterija) ter se lotim nakupa Canon 7D.

Hello world!

After 2 years using my old blog I’ve finally got the opportunity to move it to entirely new page with new domain and a new theme. Blog is still under construction, and will be finished soon.
